About 4ever Yours Rescue Inc

Adoption Information

Please do NOT complete an application for adoption unless you are prepared to adopt a rescue animal. Rescue animals require a special commitment. Please read our adoption policy before you apply for any of our dogs. Our adoption policy is listed on the front page.

Please understand that we reserve the right to adopt to the best-suited home for our rescue animals. We are an animal advocacy group that aligns all applicants based on the dog's requirements to ensure the adoption success of a 4ever home.

Please refer to our adoption policy before you apply. We are a small group of volunteers, and you may or may not receive a response from us.

If you are selected, please make sure that your veterinarian is authorized to speak with us.

Our dogs come from different backgrounds and circumstances. These dogs may not be fully potty trained and need a better structured environment or retraining. If that's your deal breaker, then probably a rescue dog may not be the right choice.

Additionally, if you are selected, vetted, and approved we cannot hold the dog. We appreciate your help and support.

Sponsor a Dog & Change Their Story

Why should I sponsor a dog instead of adopting?

Not every dog we save is able to be adopted. Some come to us with severe medical needs, lifelong conditions, or trauma that requires permanent sanctuary care. Sponsorship allows these dogs — our Forever Foster family — to live safely, comfortably, and surrounded by love for the rest of their lives. Your monthly support helps cover ongoing vet visits, medications, specialty food, and daily care. While you may not take them home, you become part of their story. You become the reason they are safe. For many of our dogs, a sponsor is their second chance.

What happens if a Forever Foster dog doesn't get sponsored?

The truth is — we never give up on them. But dogs in lifelong sanctuary care often require ongoing medications, frequent vet visits, specialty food, and extra support. Without sponsorship, those expenses are covered by general donations, which limits how many urgent medical cases we can say yes to next. When a Forever Foster dog doesn’t have a sponsor, it doesn’t change our commitment to them — it changes our capacity to save another life. Sponsorship ensures our most vulnerable dogs receive consistent care while allowing us to continue rescuing the next one waiting for help. When you sponsor, you’re not just helping one dog. You’re helping us say “yes” again.

Please be a hero of these medically ill, neglected, abused and abandoned dogs by donating towards the medical care and food.

Maeve

Benji

Meet Maeve 🐾

Maeve is a sweet Frenchie girl who has already been through more than any dog ever should. She was used for breeding and heartbreakingly discarded once she had a prolapse uterus . She was abandoned in a crate in the rain behind a grocery store and behind bushes for nobody to find. Despite her past, Maeve’s heart remains wide open—she is loving, trusting, and eager to give affection to anyone willing to receive it.

Maeve lives for attention. She wants to be close to her person, soaking up love and returning it tenfold. She’s also quite the little talker or yeller and isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts, which only adds to her charm and personality.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a constant shadow, and your new right-hand girl, Maeve would be the perfect match. She’s ready to leave her past behind and finally experience the safe, loving home she has always deserved. 🐶💖

Fully vetted and BOA done. She takes regurgitation meds Metaclopromide which costs $33 for 2 months and Pepcid.

Meet Zen (AKA Oliver) – 5-Month-Old Cattle Dog Mix

Zen, also known as Oliver, is a 5-month-old cattle dog mix who had a rough start to life. He was found in a homeless camp sick and in need of care, but with love and treatment he is now healthy, thriving, and fully vetted.

We estimate Zen will be a 30–40 pound medium-sized dog when fully grown. Zen is the sweetest little boy — a puppy with an old soul. For such a young pup, he has a mellow and gentle temperament.

He loves other dogs of all sizes and enjoys their company. He also loves curling up in your lap for snuggles. Zen is crate trained and making great progress with potty training.

Zen is smart, eager to please, and can be easily trained to coexist with cats. With his loving nature and calm personality, he will make a wonderful family dog.

Zen is ready to leave his past behind and start a new life in a loving home where he can share all

Justice

Justice

Justice

Justice (Shadow) is ready to show off his walking skills!

Just three months after major fracture repair in both back legs, this 52-pound handsome boy is proving how resilient he is. Justice isn’t a marathon buddy or hiking partner, but he’s the perfect companion for a relaxed home — happy to lounge by your side and follow you from room to room.

At only 4 months old, Justice faced euthanasia after a fall left him unable to walk and his foster returned him to the shelter. We pulled him just one hour before his scheduled euthanasia, and thanks to the incredible work of Dr. Uhl and Dr. Griffiths, Justice can now walk and even run. He stands as a living example that with proper veterinary care and commitment, miracles are possible.

When we rescued Justice, we promised him he would never be discarded and that he would have the chance to live a full, happy life — and now he’s ready to find the family who will continue that promise.

As per his DNA test he is Rottweiler and American Staffordshire mix. His coat glows as he sunbathes every day. Excellent with dogs, goats, crate trained and leash trained, he seeks nothing less than true love.

Buckley is nothing but love wrapped in a small, adorable package. This very well-behaved boy is a total cuddle bug who enjoys a mellow lifestyle and handing out sweet kisses. He has a gentle nature and does well with other dogs.

Buckley’s story started out rough — he was found stray, hungry, and cold on the streets. After completing his shelter stray hold, he made his way into the comfort and safety of our rescue where he’s been thriving.

We never want Buckley to feel abandoned again, so we are searching for a loving, responsible home that will cherish him forever. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, Buckley may be your perfect match.

Mugs

Xander

Penny

Mugs is a tiny bundle of cuteness and energy wrapped up in one adorable little package. 4 months old pug. This playful girl absolutely loves a good game of fetch — roll a ball (any size will do!) across the floor and she’s ready to chase it with pure joy.

She’s still learning her puppy manners and we’re working on helping her understand that shoes are not toys. She’s smart and eager, and with continued training she’s going to blossom into an amazing companion.

Mugs sleeps beautifully through the night in her pen and also goes into a kennel with no fuss at all. Whether she’s tucked into a crate or snoozing outside of it, she settles in like a champ.

She’s curious but respectful with cats and even the chickens. Thanks to her bigger dog siblings, she’s learning boundaries and appropriate play — they’ve been great teachers for this little lady.

Mugs will make such a wonderful addition to a loving home. She’s playful, adaptable, and full of personality — just waiting for her forever family to find her.

Noah has clearly had a rough start in life. He lived on the streets and was possibly used for breeding, arriving to us underweight. Thankfully, he’s now gaining weight and thriving—especially since he lovesto eat! 🍽️

This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate, funny, and playful. He enjoys playing with other dogs and does especially well with female dogs. Noah is also a smart cookie and has already learned how to use the dog door.

Ronnie

Blu is a sweet French Bulldog boy whose life has been marked by heartbreak. He was badly abused, abandoned, and passed from one owner to another more times than we can count. Through it all, somehow, Blue never lost his love for people.

This boy adores humans and is desperately searching for his person—someone he can finally trust, be loyal to, and love with his whole heart. Once Blue feels safe and opens up, his personality shines. He’ll do silly tricks just to make you laugh, throw his paws in the air, roll over, and happily shower you with kisses. He truly lives to bring joy to the people he loves.

Blue needs a home where he can get plenty of attention and reassurance, so he would do best with someone who is home most of the time. He does well with other low energy dogs and thrives on companionship, but his greatest happiness will always be being close to his human.

After everything Blue has endured, he deserves stability, patience, and unconditional love—and in return, he will be fiercely loyal, endlessly affectionate, and your most devoted companion.

Teddy – A Lovable Grumpy Gentleman 🐾

Teddy is a 7-year-old “grumpy old man” with a big personality and an even bigger need for love. His language of love is a little… growly. Teddy uses his growl to communicate his feelings—if he doesn’t want to be picked up or moved, he’ll let you know. Because of this, he’s looking for a dog-savvy adopter who understands and respects canine boundaries.

Don’t let the grump fool you—Teddy loves attention, cozy beds, and will happily sleep right next to you (sometimes on top of you!). He also enjoys walks and car rides, and he gets along well with other dogs.

Teddy came from a severely neglected situation with untreated ear infections, cherry eye, and hair loss. He has received extensive care, dentals and healing in rescue. His ear flaps are thickened from past neglect and won’t return to normal, but the good news is he is now comfortable and free from infections.

Teddy would do best in a calm, adult-only home with someone—especially a senior—who wants a loyal companion and understands his quirks. He simply wants love, patience, and someone to call his own, and he’ll return that love in his own special way.

No children, please.
