Born and raised in New Delhi, India, I developed a passion for saving street dogs at a young age, often hiding them to protect them from being taken away. After moving to the U.S. in 2000, my husband and I began fostering dogs, which eventually inspired me to found Sugar Momma’s Rescue (4ever Yours Rescue Inc.) in 2018. Since then, we’ve rehabilitated and rehomed nearly 100 dogs annually, many from high-kill shelters and urgent medical situations. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care, place dogs in loving foster homes, and support them for life after adoption. I am deeply grateful to my husband, our veterinary partners, and the dogs themselves, who remind me daily that rescue is never-ending and love is unconditional.

Kenji Thompson serves as the Vice President of 4ever Yours Rescue and is the husband of our founder, Divya. As her right hand, Kenji plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the rescue, offering both hands-on support and behind-the-scenes leadership. Whether helping with transports, events, or coordinating care for incoming dogs, he is always ready to step in wherever needed. His dedication, teamwork, and unwavering support make him an indispensable part of the rescue’s success.

Tina is a dedicated member of 4Ever Yours Rescue, serving as both a Page Administrator and Event Coordinator. She helps keep our online presence active and engaging, ensuring adoptable dogs and rescue updates reach the right audience. As a foster mom to senior Chihuahuas, Tina provides these special pups with the love, comfort, and care they need in their golden years—and she’s “foster failed” more times than she can count, welcoming many of them permanently into her home. Her hard work behind the scenes and her compassionate heart make her an essential part of our team.

Melissa serves as the Adoption Director for 4ever Yours Rescue, where she helps match dogs with their perfect forever homes. As a page administrator, she keeps our online presence active and engaging, ensuring each dog’s story reaches potential adopters. A dedicated foster mom, Melissa opens her home and heart to dogs in need, providing them with love and stability. With her expertise in IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), she offers valuable care and guidance for dogs facing mobility challenges, giving them the best chance at a happy, healthy life.

Lisa serves as the Puppy Coordinator and Event Coordinator for 4ever Yours Rescue, as well as a devoted foster mom. She fosters most of our puppies, providing them with loving care, early training, and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes. Lisa also has a soft spot for senior Chihuahuas and medical dogs, giving them the specialized attention they need to heal and thrive. Her dedication to organizing events helps connect the community to our mission, while her compassion and commitment make her an invaluable part of our rescue family.

Angelek brings her talents and heart to 4Ever Yours Rescue as a foster mom, groomer, and event helper. She provides loving care and grooming to our rescues, helping them look and feel their best as they wait for their forever homes. Outside of rescue, Angelek runs her small business, Homestead Goods, offering farm-to-fork freshness with homemade breads, spreads, and farm-fresh eggs—and soon, goat milk and cheese.
